Undeclared goods with a total value of 140 thousand rubles were discovered by Brest customs officers in a truck of a Polish carrier. This time, in violation of the law, spare parts for expensive equipment were transported from Germany.

A Renault truck with such goods entered the territory of the EAEU through the Kozlovichi checkpoint. It was already established at the weight and size control that there was an "extra" load in the semi-trailer.

The weight of the transported goods turned out to be 450 kg heavier than it was stated in the documents. This excess was caused by intentionally "unaccounted for" spare parts for equipment for the meat processing industry.

And for their legal import, customs duties in the amount of more than 28 thousand rubles should be paid.

Brest Customs has started the administrative process in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
