To save on customs payments, a shipment of spare parts for construction machinery and paint and varnish materials worth 450 thousand rubles imported from Poland to the territory of the EAEU was intentionally omitted from the accompanying documents.

The violation was established by Grodno customs officers at the «Berestovitsa» checkpoint, where the SCANIA truck of the Polish carrier arrived for registration.

During the inspection of the vehicle, it was found that the legally transported combined cargo contained 4 thousand units of goods that were not included in the documents.

The statement of false information could serve as a basis for underestimating customs payments by almost 30 thousand rubles.

The Grodno Regional Customs has initiated administrative proceedings against the carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.

He will have to pay a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of the administrative violation, as well as missing customs duties.
