The Polish carrier "forgot" to declare more than 4 tons of paint and varnish materials in order not to pay customs duties in full.

The violation of the law was established at the Kozlovichi checkpoint, where the DAF truck arrived from Germany. In it, enamels, gloves, bags, various nozzles, sprayers and other goods were transported to the territory of the EAEU. Brest customs officers sent the vehicle for additional customs control operations.

As a result of the inspection, more than 800 undeclared boxes with enamel, primer, anti-gravel and hardeners were found. The total cost of undeclared paint and varnish materials was about 78 thousand bel. rubles.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process against the Polish carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
