The Belarusian customs is taking all possible measures to reduce the time required to cross the border in conditions of deliberate irregular work by the control services of neighboring countries.

At the same time, individual citizens, especially from neighboring countries, who are trying to specifically destabilize the situation, actively resort to the use of telegram chats, in which they deliberately inflame the situation with invented facts.

Thus, a Lithuanian citizen indicated a daily stay at the Kamenny Log checkpoint due to the slow work of customs officers, and he himself has never passed through it in the last two months.

During the specified period, he crossed the border through the Benyakoni checkpoint once, which took, taking into account all types of control and filling out the passenger declaration on the spot, a little more than one hour.

With regard to the overall average time for passing all types of entry controls at the Kamenny Log checkpoint, it is up to 2.5 hours for passenger cars, except in cases where signs of violations of the law are detected. The movement along the green corridor takes only 15-20 minutes.

Today, Belarusian customs officers are on duty in an enhanced mode, taking into account the growing threats at the external borders, in order to prevent the import of goods that may harm the life and health of citizens.

Attempts to import prohibited substances and other violations of customs legislation are being suppressed on a daily basis.

In the last two months alone, the import of large quantities of hashish has been stopped - about 100 kg at the Kamenny Log checkpoint and 50 kg at the Brest checkpoint. In the spring of this year, more than half a ton of particularly dangerous explosives were revealed, carefully hidden from customs control.

The State Customs Committee is ready to deal with any situation that has raised questions from people crossing the border. We suggest sending official appeals through the Appeal platform.bel.
