The 81st meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS countries has ended in Dushanbe. An active participant at the meeting is a delegation of the Belarusian customs headed by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky.

At today's event, 18 issues regulating customs administration in the CIS countries were considered, and Valery Pikalev, Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, was re-elected Chairman of the Council.

The participants reached a consensus on the provisions of the draft Memorandum of Understanding between the customs services of the CIS countries on the simplification of transit traffic. The document defines measures to accelerate the transit of perishable goods and, in general, simplify transit transportation, as well as mutual information about projects at checkpoints aimed at increasing capacity.

The Belarusian side raised the issue of the need to share experience in identifying electric vehicles for the type of hybrid power plant.

The meeting assessed the practical implementation of the decisions taken at the previous Council meeting.

On the sidelines of the event, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky and Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Valery Pikalev signed documents concerning the approval of Union-wide risk profiles and information interaction between the customs services of Belarus and Russia with the Interstate Center of the Union State.

At a bilateral meeting with the Head of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akmalkhuzha Mavlonov, Technical conditions for information interaction within the framework of the Agreement on Mutual Recognition of institutions of the authorized economic operator were approved.
