Today, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky visited the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone", on the territory of which there is a departmental customs clearance point.
More than 170 residents operate in the industrial park, applying the procedure of a free customs zone for imported foreign goods. The main purpose of such a regime is to free businesses from the financial burden of importing imported equipment, raw materials and components for the organization of production.
In addition to customs clearance of imported and exported goods actually arriving at the VET, employees are actively involved in the work of the electronic declaration center.
Vladimir Orlovsky inspected the equipment and loading of the temporary storage warehouse and customs warehouse located on the territory of the park, assessed the progress of construction of the bimodal container terminal "Eurasian Railway Gateway".
As part of the single information day, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee talked with the staff of the customs clearance point about ecological culture, the responsibility of each person for the preservation of the environment and the key directions of the environmental policy of Belarus.
