State Customs authorities of the Republic of Belarus

Ruslan Davydov, Minister for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, who arrived in Minsk on an official visit, met today with students of the specialty "customs business" of the Belarusian State University and the Belarusian National Technical University.
Representatives of the customs authorities and the departmental Institute also participated in the event, which took place within the walls of the State Customs Committee.
Ruslan Davydov spoke about the contribution of customs authorities to the Eurasian integration, the state and prospects of customs administration development in the Eurasian Economic Union, the importance of unified regulation for the successful and progressive development of the Union as a whole and each of the participating countries.
Minister for Customs Cooperation of the EEC explained the specifics of improving the customs legislation of the EAEU, the formation of a modern regulatory framework that facilitates trade procedures and increases the effectiveness of customs control.
The interest of the students was aroused by the comparison of customs regulation in the EAEU with the systems operating in other regions of the world, in particular, in the countries of the European Union.
The audience was interested in the introduction of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and the development of electronic commerce into the work of customs authorities.
The event was distinguished by the maximum activity and involvement in the conversation of the audience present in the hall.
