While legally moving 10.5 tons of auto parts across the Polish-Belarusian border in a Polish carrier's truck, they tried to hide over 800 kg of various goods among them. Brest customs officers identified an "extra" shipment during the cargo inspection.

The vehicle with the goods was traveling from Estonia, and entered the territory of the EAEU through the Kozlovichi checkpoint. Here, the car was inspected using an inspection system. After analyzing the results obtained, they were sent for inspection to the Brest-FEZ departmental customs clearance point.

As a result, it was established that they intended to import more than 420 thousand units of fishing accessories, clothing, medicines and various automobile spare parts without paying customs duties in the amount of 40 thousand rubles.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process against the Polish carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
