At a solemn meeting at the State Customs Committee, held on the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky thanked his colleagues for their contribution to ensuring the security of our country and expressed special gratitude to the customs officers who serve on the external borders of our country.
February 23 is a tribute of deep respect to the heroes-defenders of our country, it is a symbol of courage, valor and selfless service to the Motherland. This is a day to honor those who ensure the security of the country today, who strengthen it with military labor, who consider it their sacred duty to protect their native land and keep peace in their families," said Vladimir Orlovsky.
In a festive atmosphere, officials were awarded shoulder straps in connection with the assignment of personal titles and departmental awards.
