More than 134 thousand units of various goods intended for individuals were tried to be imported into Belarus in violation of the norms of Presidential Decree No. 297.
A vehicle with goods belonging to a Belarusian carrier was stopped by Operational customs officers during special operations in the Minsk region. The truck arrived from Russia.
During the verification measures, customs officers established the fact of non-delivery of goods to the places of control, which, before handing them over to individuals, is a prerequisite according to Decree No. 297.
The cost of imported tobacco products, liquids with an odor similar to alcohol, dietary supplements, clothing, shoes, food, car parts and much more amounted to more than 2.5 million. bel. rubles.
An administrative process has been initiated against the carrier under Article 13.36 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. Additionally, an inspection is carried out with respect to tobacco products and liquids in accordance with Article 13.18 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. Customs examinations have been appointed.
