Mogilev customs officers have revealed another fact of illegal transportation of pears to Russia.
40 tons of fresh fruits were transported in two RENAULT cargo vehicles, the movement of which was stopped by customs officers during special measures.
The scheme of violation of the law is standard - the drivers did not have shipping documents and phytosanitary certificates confirming the safety of products.
The total cost of pears amounted to more than 273 thousand Belarusian rubles.
Mogilev Customs has initiated administrative proceedings against an individual entrepreneur who owns goods and vehicles in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
