Grodno customs officers found an undeclared shipment of chewing gum and oral sprays worth more than 3 million rubles in the truck of the Polish carrier.

The VOLVO vehicle with the goods arrived from Poland at the Berestovica checkpoint.

During the inspection of the cargo, customs officers found that the actual amount of chewing gum significantly exceeds the declared amount, and information about oral sprays is completely absent from the accompanying documents.

Non-declaration of a total of more than 74 thousand units of goods would save about 390 thousand rubles on customs payments.

Grodno regional customs has initiated an administrative process against the Polish carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 155 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. Now he will have to pay a fine of up to 30% of the value of the illegally transported goods and customs duties in full.
