Gomel customs officers identified three attempts to import foreign-made goods from Russia, which had no information about customs clearance moving to the territory of the EAEU.

For example, during special measures on the Belarusian-Russian section of the border, vehicles of Belarusian entrepreneurs were stopped. The illegally imported goods contained in them were planned to be sold on the territory of Belarus.

In total, the documents required for transportation were missing for 655 items of clothing, shoes and bedding sets. Their cost was over 33 thousand Belarusian rubles.

Gomel Customs has initiated administrative proceedings against individual entrepreneurs in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
