Among the declared used clothes that were transported to the territory of the EAEU from Belgium, Gomel customs officers identified a batch of new goods worth 140 thousand bel. rubles.
The truck entered the country through the Polish-Belarusian border and was sent for customs inspection to the Mozyr customs clearance point. It was here that Gomel customs officers found that they had "forgotten" to declare part of the cargo, which was new.
Non-declaration of clothes, bags, bed linen and various household goods would serve to underestimate the amount of customs duties in the amount of more than 43 thousand rubles. Now this amount will have to be paid.
Materials on the administrative process initiated in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code by Gomel Customs have been sent to the court. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
