During special operations on the Belarusian-Russian border, Vitebsk customs officers revealed the fact of illegal importation of more than 10.7 thousand units of nicotine-containing products into Belarus.

The goods were transported in an IVECO truck of the Belarusian carrier.

During the inspection, it was established that the transportation was carried out according to invalid documents. The information stated in them did not correspond to reality - the specified sending company from Russia was liquidated and officially ceased to exist.

The cost of the batch was over 180 thousand Belarusian rubles.

Vitebsk Customs has initiated an administrative process against the carrier in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine in the amount of up to 50% of the value of the object of the offense.
