Citizens of Belarus who have exceeded the limits on duty-free import of goods several times have been brought to administrative responsibility.
The violations were revealed by Grodno customs officers at the Kamenny Log checkpoint, along the green corridor of which two Belarusians were driving a Volvo s80 car.
By choosing this corridor, they stated that they were not importing goods subject to declaration.
However, during customs control, among the personal belongings of the driver and passenger, customs officers found a commercial shipment of various cosmetics - a total of more than 200 units worth over 32 thousand rubles. And without paying customs duties, it is allowed to import goods worth up to 500 euros and weighing up to 25 kilograms.
The citizens were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 4 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus, according to which they paid a fine of 10% of the value of illegally transported goods.
