Brest customs officers seized hashish oil from a 20-year-old passenger of a regular bus arriving from Poland.

He chose the green corridor to cross the border at the Brest checkpoint, confirming that he had no prohibited or restricted goods with him. However, the service dog's behavior indicated the possible presence of narcotic drugs in the citizen. Therefore, the man's luggage was searched and a glass bottle with an oily liquid of dark green color was removed from the shoulder bag.

The expert opinion of the State Committee for Forensic Examinations in the Brest region confirmed that the contents of the vial are a dangerous narcotic drug - hashish oil (cannabis oil). The weight of the drug was more than 17.5 grams.

Brest Customs has opened a criminal case against a citizen under Part 2 of Article 328-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (illegal movement of narcotic drugs in bulk across the customs border of the EAEU). The sanction of the article provides for punishment up to imprisonment for up to 10 years.
