Brest customs officers have established that the value of the cargo transported by the Polish carrier indicated in the documents is several times lower than the real one.

A DAF cargo vehicle loaded with 10 tons of window fittings in Lithuania has arrived for registration at the Kozlovichi checkpoint. In the documents, the product was valued at only 70 thousand rubles.

The ratio of the quantity and the names of the goods clearly did not correspond to such a value. The check confirmed this. The actual total amount for such cargo was almost 350 thousand rubles.

Deliberate violation of the law would have saved more than 76 thousand rubles on customs payments.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative procedure against the Polish carrier in accordance with Part 3 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. Now he will have to pay the required fees and a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of the administrative offense.
