As part of the "From the Heart" charity event, which was launched at the initiative of the Head of State and is being held in the country for the fourth time, Vladimir Orlovsky, Chairman of the State Customs Committee, met with elderly residents from the Zhupransky branch of the 24-hour social services center in the Oshmyany district.

"The history of our country is woven with military and battlefield exploits and the hard work of older generations. And today, you teach us to cherish universal values, passing on your experience and wisdom bit by bit. Thank you for that. We are very happy to have such meetings, and may they bring us joy for many years to come," Vladimir Orlovsky said to the residents.

The Chairman of the State Customs Committee is well acquainted with the elderly residents of this center; this is the third year in a row that they have celebrated this charitable event together. The head of the Belarusian Customs Service, Grodno customs officers, and representatives of the Beltamozhservice State Unitary Enterprise congratulated the veterans on the upcoming holidays and presented them with gifts, including a certificate for the purchase of a refrigeration unit.

The guests expressed gratitude to the facility's staff, who provide 24/7 care and attention to those staying at the center.

The Oshmyany District Cultural Center and Grodno Regional Customs staff prepared a heartfelt New Year's performance, which added even more warmth to today's gathering.
