Over 16,000 items of clothing, cosmetics, food additives, electronic cigarettes and liquids for them were illegally transported by a representative of a commercial organization in Belarus.

This was established by the staff of the operational unit of the Grodno regional Customs during special events.

The driver of a Mercedes minibus with a trailer containing the goods could not provide any documents to the customs officers.

The cost of illegally transported consumer goods amounted to more than 700 thousand rubles.

An administrative process has been initiated against the legal entity in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The fine will be up to 50% of the value of the product.
