15 gold bars and coins worth about 260 thousand white rubles were hidden from customs control by a Lithuanian citizen who arrived at the Kamenny Log checkpoint.

A 57-year-old man drove a NISSAN car through the red corridor of the checkpoint to file a passenger declaration for the temporary importation of cars, as well as declare 5 commemorative coins and 13 gold bars and coins.

Only during the inspection of the citizen's luggage, Grodno customs officers found a metal case, inside which 7 more gold bars and 8 gold coins were hidden.

Now the hidden valuables will be confiscated, and the citizen will pay a fine of up to 30 basic units.

The Grodno Regional Customs sent the materials of the administrative process under Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus to the court.
