A commercial shipment of various foreign-made goods imported from abroad in small batches under the guise of goods for personal use was intended to be illegally sold in Russia.

The violation was discovered by Brest customs operatives during a special operation on the M1 road section.

Customs officers stopped a Volkswagen minibus, which contained 264 units of household appliances, construction tools, children's clothing and toys.

During the inspection, it was established that for duty-free movement across the customs border, the consignment was divided into parts and imported under the guise of goods for personal use.

The total cost of these goods exceeded 56 thousand rubles.

According to this fact, Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process under Part 2 of Article 151 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 30 basic units with possible confiscation of the goods.
