3.7 thousand units of "extra" auto parts were identified by Brest customs officers in a MERCEDES-BENZ truck that arrived in the EAEU from France.

The discrepancy between the number of spare parts indicated in the documents and the actual contents of the vehicle was established at the Brest-FEZ departmental customs clearance point.

The value of the illegally transported goods exceeded 830 thousand rubles.

Deliberately not declaring such an amount, the Polish carrier attempted to save about 47 thousand Belarusian rubles on customs payments.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process in accordance with Article 155 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense. We will have to pay the missing customs duties.
