More than 80 artifacts of cultural and historical value have been transferred to the museum.

These objects were intended to be illegally imported into Belarus by a Ukrainian citizen who arrived from Sweden.

During the inspection of his vehicle at the Grigorovshchyna checkpoint, cutlery, decorative porcelain figurines, postage stamps, medals, badges, coins and other items were found. The goods were seized and sent for examination to the Customs Laboratory.

The expert found that 80 items are cultural treasures, one of the main criteria is that they were made more than 100 years ago.

Among the valuables transferred to the Museum of Local lore are coins of the USA, Finland and New Zealand (1918-1921), medals (Sweden, mid-twentieth century), a badge (Sweden, 1915), breastplates (Sweden, 1934-1959), cutlery and porcelain figurines (XX century) and others.
