The results of the execution of certain orders of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on the Competence of Customs Services were discussed today at the State Customs Committee by Ruslan Davydov, Minister for Customs Cooperation of the EEC, and Vladimir Orlovsky, Chairman of the State Customs Committee.
The main topic on the agenda of the bilateral meeting is monitoring the practice of customs declaration of tax-intensive goods and control of their customs value.
They also discussed the procedure for interaction between the EEC and the customs services of the EAEU in terms of the operational exchange of information on goods and vehicles to improve the effectiveness of customs control.
Attention was paid to the prospects of using electronic navigation seals to track shipments throughout the EAEU, which will begin on February 11, 2026, and the expected effectiveness of their use in order to speed up trade and simplify customs operations.
Vladimir Orlovsky thanked the EEC Minister for Customs Cooperation for the close and productive cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Customs Service of Belarus.
