Brest customs officers established two facts of movement of goods across the customs border by Polish carriers without declaration.

In the first case, customs officers from the Kozlovichi checkpoint found out at the weight and size control that undeclared goods were being transported in the RENAUL truck, which was traveling from France.

During the inspection, it was found that there were 108 unaccounted bags of corn seeds in the vehicle. The cost of the goods was more than 40 thousand rubles, and the customs duties payable were over 10 thousand rubles.

A similar case was recorded at the Brest-TLC departmental customs clearance point, where the DAF truck was sent from the border to carry out additional customs operations.

In addition to the batch of emulsifiers and oils specified in the documents, there were about 600 kg of polypropylene tape worth more than 100 thousand rubles in the cargo compartment.

In this case, a violation of the law could result in non-payment of customs duties in the amount of about 28 thousand rubles.

Brest Customs has initiated administrative proceedings against carriers in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
