A Cuban citizen planned to illegally import a commercial shipment of branded items worth 55 thousand white rubles to Belarus.
Customs officers from the Minsk National Airport, where the woman arrived on a Dubai-Minsk flight, revealed a violation of the law.
She chose a green corridor for passing through the customs border, confirming that there was no need to declare any goods.
Customs officers questioned her words and actions, and during additional forms of customs control, they found a shipment of bags, glasses, suitcases and accessories from Chanel, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, and Christian Dior brands in the citizen's possession.
The Minsk Regional Customs has initiated an administrative process in relation to the citizen in accordance with Part 4 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for liability in the form of a fine in the amount of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
We remind you that the duty-free limit on the import of goods for personal use by air is 10 thousand euros in value and up to 50 kg in weight.
