The Operational Customs officers established the fact of importation into Belarus without customs declaration of a large batch of foreign goods with a total value of more than 1.7 million rubles.
The truck of the Kazakh carrier with illegally imported goods was inspected by customs officers during special operations.
About 160,000 units of LED lamps, jewelry, tableware and kitchen products, culinary thermometers, LED lamps, hand tools, cosmetics and much more were delivered from China to the Belarusian recipient without declaration.
The declarant of the transit procedure was also a business entity from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Operational Customs has initiated administrative proceedings against him in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus, the sanction of which provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of illegally imported goods.
