Since the beginning of the month, Vitebsk customs officers have established four facts of illegal transportation of fresh pears to Russia.
The total weight of the products exceeded 80 tons, and the cost amounted to more than 540 thousand Belarusian rubles.
In all the facts revealed on the Belarusian-Russian section of the border, the carriers were individual entrepreneurs and a legal entity from Belarus.
The drivers of three trucks did not have all the necessary documents for the transportation of products, and the fourth submitted documents that did not correspond to the transportation for customs control.
Vitebsk Customs has initiated administrative proceedings in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. Carriers will pay a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
