During special operations, Mogilev customs officers uncovered two cases of illegal transportation of Russian and foreign-made consumer goods.

In the first case, nearly 2,000 items of clothing and footwear were being transported in the cargo compartment of a Mercedes. The driver lacked the necessary shipping and accompanying documents for the goods, including the international consignment note.

In the second case, the driver of a Volkswagen Crafter, importing approximately 3,000 items of similar goods, similarly failed to provide customs officers with any documents required for legal transportation.

The total value of the two shipments exceeded 225,000 belarusian rubles.

Mogilev Customs initiated administrative proceedings against the Belarusian individual entrepreneurs under Article 13.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, which carries a fine of up to 50% of the value of the items involved.
